Liz Moore is a New York Times bestselling novelist known for emotionally resonant, character-driven fiction. Her highly acclaimed works include Heft, The Unseen World, and Long Bright River, which was named one of Barack Obama’s favorite books of 2020 and adapted for television. Her latest novel, The God of the Woods (2024), topped independent bookstore bestseller lists and won the Goodreads Choice Award in Mystery & Thriller. Moore’s fiction explores complex human relationships, resilience, and identity with clarity and heart. She serves as Director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Temple University and continues to be a leading voice in contemporary American literature.
