As we return to our live Pen & Podium programs, the well-being of all our patrons is paramount. Protocols for attending in-person events will be developed in conjunction with the Newman Center for the Performing Arts health guidelines, and we appreciate your flexibility as these are updated over the course of the season.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Procedures
Vaccination and mask requirements at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts were lifted on March 17th.
All face coverings will be optional in the venue and we ask our guests to respect those who continue to wear face coverings as a precaution. We encourage patrons to continue to make smart decisions regarding their health and to contact our box office should you feel ill and unable to attend one of the performances.

Venue
– The north and east entrance doors will open at 6:30 p.m. (the west doors will remain closed.) The house doors open at 7:00 p.m.  
– Parking in the Newman Center garage for this event is $10. Space is limited. Directions to the Newman Center and parking are available here.
– Concessions will be open.

Parking

The Newman Center for the Performing Arts is located at the southwest corner of East Iliff Avenue & South University Boulevard; approximately 1 mile south of the University Boulevard exit off Interstate 25. Click here for google map.

The Newman Center parking garage is located 1 block south of the Newman Center (University & Wesley.) Unless otherwise noted, parking is $10. Upon payment, a parking attendant will provide you with a permit to display permit on your dashboard.

In the event the Newman Center parking garage reaches capacity you will be directed to a designated overflow lot. A parking attendant will be at the overflow lot to collect $10, and provide you with a permit, to display permit on your dashboard.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking on the University of Denver campus requires payment or a parking permit 24 hours a day.
