The Denver Post Pen & Podium Book Club
Thank you for your interest in the Denver Post Pen & Podium Book Club! Whether you’re a longtime participant or just discovering us, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow readers and dive deeper into the works of this season’s Pen & Podium authors.
Here are the book selections and dates for this season’s gatherings. We’re excited to announce a new venue: all Book Club meetings will now be held at the Tattered Cover Book Store located at 2526 E. Colfax Ave. in Denver, from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Between the historic ambiance, cozy shelves, and free-parking just steps away, we’re set for a season of lively discussion and memorable evenings at one of Denver’s most beloved bookstores!
Seats for each Book Club event are available with a minimum donation of $10 per person to The Denver Post Community Foundation. Your donation not only reserves your place but also supports local nonprofits dedicated to advancing literacy in our community—organizations such as Stories on Stage, Jefferson County Library Foundation, Reach Out and Read Colorado, and Lighthouse Writers Workshop.
About a month before each Book Club date, an official email invitation will be sent to our Book Club and Pen & Podium email lists, and will include all the details on how to reserve your seat.
In the meantime, get to know our passionate moderator, Jeffrey Neuman, whose insight and dedication help make these events so special. (Click here to read his bio.) We’ll also be sharing discussion questions and additional resources in early August to enrich your reading experience.
Happy reading! If you have any questions, please email us at dpcommunity@denverpost.com.
